Thanks for the blog. I’m a Tagalog speaker and I’m getting a few things from your blog.
Wow, thanks for this blog! I’m an American Pinay visiting relatives in Cebu and Leyte. I’ve been surrounded by Bisaya speakers since I was a child, but I still have no idea how to construct grammatically correct sentences in this language. Your blog entries help — but why don’t you post anymore?
I have seen “first class” and “second class” being used to describe some Cebuano pronouns. What is the difference between a first class and a second class pronoun?
This is not correct! I am a fluent Cebuano speaker and in my 18 months in the Visayas NEVER heard “mokanon”! The correct sentence would be, “Mokaon ba ka sa imong paniudto?” or, “Kaonon nimo ang imong paniudto?” The sentence structure is too totally different from English to learn quickly online.
